We operate on a pre-booking basis only, so please be sure to make a reservation in advance to secure your table. Please visit our reservations page to enquire.

We will always aim to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. Whilst we follow best practice at all times, we do like to highlight the fact that all the dishes we serve are produced in an environment where allergens are also prepared and cooked.
Due to the nature of our menus, we are unable to cater for vegan, dairy free and other selected allergies however vegetarian and pescatarian menus are available with advance notification.

Our historic building presents some challenges for accessibility, with steps leading into the shop and an older staircase to access the dining room. Unfortunately, we do not have a lift.

We welcome children to our family-run business and they are more than welcome in the shop. However, we do not feel that our dining experiences are suitable for young children. We therefore don’t allow babies, infants or children under 11 in the dining room or for our evening experiences.
Due to health and safety, children under 11 are not allowed on our rooftop terrace garden.

To secure your private dining booking, we may ask for a deposit. If you need to cancel, deposits are refundable with more than 14 days' notice. Otherwise, we will retain the deposit unless we are able to re-sell the table.

We recommend leaving around three hours to enjoy our evening tasting menus and 2 hours for our lunch tasting menu.

We offer a great selection of reasonably priced drinks, but if you choose to bring your own, corkage starts at £14.

We don’t have allocated parking but Tickhill has a free car park located on St Mary's Road (DN11 9LZ).
After 6pm, there are often spaces available directly in front of the shop without parking restrictions.

When you purchase our ‘Enjoy at Home’ options, cooking instructions will be provided by a member of the team and we’re always happy to answer any questions. Most of our dishes are simply finished in the oven for your convenience.

We offer a menu for two for £22.50, which includes starters, mains, and desserts and most weeks we run a Friday night dinner offer for £17.50.

Our glass dishes are an important part of our goal to being a more sustainable venue and reducing plastic waste.
We have a fully refundable £2.50 dish deposit on all glass dish meals.
Unfortunately, we can't accept your own dishes at this time.

All our ‘Enjoy at Home’ dishes are made fresh in our restaurant. Most items can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Ask a member of the team if you have any questions.

We are a small venue and our casual drop in seating is limited. If we have space, we will always make you feel welcome.
When the chef’s table is not reserved, we also allow people to use this space for casual coffee and cake.

Due to health and safety, children under 11 are not allowed upstairs in our dining room or on our rooftop terrace garden.

We love them - providing they are well behaved! Dogs are welcome in the front area of the shop.

Our breakfast menu can be ordered from until 11am.
We do not have a lunch food menu but if seating is available, we are happy to serve cakes, pastries and light bites from the shop. Glass dish meals can also be served in the shop when there is walk-in seating available.

Coffee and other hot drinks are available in take-away cups and we always have light bites and other lunch options that are ideal for ‘on-the-go’ .
